Fairlawn Man Electrocuted While Working in Medina County

Accident claims life at Montville Township Country Club

A Fairlawn man was electrocuted in Montville Township Wednesday afternoon, our partners at NewsNet5 report.

Michael Krebs, 33, was working on a damaged irrigation pipe at Fox Meadow Country Club Wednesday morning.

NewsNet5 reports that the foreman left to run an errand and returned to find Krebs in the ditch, not moving.

Emergency workers were called at about 1:15 p.m. The electricity was cut off and Krebs, a father of three, was taken to Medina Hospital.

The incident was not related to Wednesday's severe storms in the area.
