Local hat maker says women will be wearing these styles for the holiday
So does anyone still wear an Easter bonnet? Okay, no one calls it that, but some women do still want a nice new hat for Easter, according to Paula Singleton, owner of What a Great Hat! in Fairlawn. Hat-wearers lament that there aren't more fans out there. "Some of my customers complain that few women wear a hat to church," Singleton said. This year, she has produced the two pictured hats for Easter. The cream one is a "hybrid:" a vintage hat Singleton purchased and remodeled to bring it up to date, that would now "look stunning for Easter, the Kentucky Derby or a wedding," she said.
