Police and Firemen Belly Up to the Bar for a Good Cause
Bartender tips will benefit the Copley Share a Christmas Program to make the holidays special for needy families in the Copley-Fairlawn area.
Want to have a drink poured or mixed by one of Copley and Fairlawn's finest? On Dec. 12 you can, and it's for a good cause! Officers and firemen from the Copley and Fairlawn police and fire departments will be guest bartenders at David B's from 6 to 11 p.m. on Dec. 12. All tips received are donated to the Copley Share a Christmas Program, which helps needy families in the Copley-Fairlawn area have a special Christmas. Last year, more than $5,000 was raised, said Copley Youth Services Coordinator Marcie Mason. That money was used to help more than 100 Copley-Fairlawn families.
