Mitt Romney To Visit Avon Lake High School Monday Morning

Tickets are free by email or by visiting the Romney campaign headquarters in Avon Lake.

It's Monday in Ohio, so another presidential candidate is visiting. This time, it's Mitt Romney at the Avon Lake High School. Doors open at 9:15 a.m. and the event begins at 11:15 a.m. Since we've seen a number of these visits, we know that folks line up relly early.  Tickets are free and you can get them by visiting the Ohio Romney campaign website or claiming them at the Avon Lake Romney campaign office at 375-J Lear Road, Avon Lake.  Security will be similar to that of going through airport security.  If you go, share your photos and tweet about it. We'll share your tweets live. If you can't make it, Patch will be there so check back here for minute-by-minute coverage.  Related Links:  Will the high school schedule be disrupted? Where …

"There was so much security because Obama was staying overnight," Staten said. "It wasn't like he was just stopping by. The Secret Service told me the Hilton was the White House for a night." The Secret Service required the city to buy 4,800 …

I think that it is only right to submit a statement for reimbursement. Our mayor and city council look out for the entire community - regardless of political preference. Our budget is overseen with great care and the taxpayers of Fairlawn benefit from such fiscal responsibility. I would expect the same attempt to recoup at least some of the cost of the visit, no matter the VIP. Congratulations on…   more ›
