Two Car Break-Ins at Max & Erma's Result in $2,410 Loss

On Nov. 26, someone broke into two cars in the Max & Erma's parking lot by busting out windows, according to a Fairlawn police report. A man found the rear window of his car broken and the thief made off with his bookbag containing a laptop and three textbooks. The car next to his was also broken into, and a man's briefcase was taken. The case held a Blackberry phone, confidential files, a checkbook and pen, according to the report. The value of the stolen items totals $2,410. There were also reports of car break-ins at Macaroni Grill in Copley.
