Crime is one of the most read sections on the site each day. In our Week's Best in Crime column, I usually feature the three most popular stories, but this week, you get a fourth. Bath Township Police were busy this week! Here they are, in case you missed them: 1. A driver on Interstate 77 called Bath Police to report a possible drunk driver. Hands down, crime is one of the more popular topics on Fairlawn-Bath Patch, so we rounded up the three most popular crime stories this week, in case you missed them: 1. A Fairlawn man was denied an Ohio Edison account because someone had stolen his identity and racked up more than $800 in past-due bills at a home in Akron. 2. A thief pickpocketed a Michigan woman's wallet at a Fairlawn eatery, then apparently made a beeline to the Apple Store in Summit Mall and charged $900 in purchases to her credit card. 3. A manager at the Circle K south store in Bath was fired after admitting to helping himself to bank deposit funds over the past two months.

Everyone loves to read the police blotter, so we rounded up the three most popular crime stories we posted this week. 1. An Akron man was killed in a car accident at state Route 18 and Hametown Road in Bath Township. Lawrence K. Turner was 53 years old. 2. An Akron man is accused of grabbing a woman by the throat and throwing her down in the Rockne's parking lot. The man then tried to get away and hit a police cruiser twice. 3. A 14-year-old Bath Township girl gets in a fight with her parents and threatens to "disembody" her mother.
