A Fairlawn man was denied an Ohio Edison account because someone had stolen his identity and racked up more than $800 in past-due bills at a home in Akron. 2. A thief pickpocketed a Michigan woman's wallet at a Fairlawn eatery, then apparently made a beeline to the Apple Store in Summit Mall and charged $900 in purchases to her credit card. 3. A manager at the Circle K south store in Bath was fired after admitting to helping himself to bank deposit funds over the past two months.

A 14-year-old Bath Township girl gets in a fight with her parents and threatens to "disembody" her mother.

Everyone loves to read the police blotter, so we rounded up the three most popular crime stories we posted this week. 1. A Clinton man was banned from Summit Mall after someone spotted him "exposing his genitals and masturbating," in the parking lot according to a police report. 2. Two Canadian men were busted putting data skimmers on several Fairlawn and Bath FirstMerit ATMs. The Secret Service and FBI are investigating. 3. A Yellow Creek Road man questioned a bicyclist about why he wasn't wearing a helmet, which got him assaulted.
