Bath Tax Rates Shifting in 2013

Here are the numbers that make up Bath Township's property tax bills this year.

Copley-Fairlawn City Schools The tax rate of Bath residents paying into the Copley-Fairlawn school district fell by .12 mills this year, according to data provided by The Plain Dealer and Cleveland.com. Homeowners will pay $2,132 for every $100,000 in home value this year, down from $2,136 last year, according to the database. The savings add up to $4 a year per $100,000 to a property owner's tax bill. Overall millage stands at 69.63 this year, compared to 69.75 in 2012. The Copley-Fairlawn City Schools gets the largest share of your taxes, with 38.61 mills costing $1,182 per $100,000 in valuation. Bath Township gets the next-highest amount, or $453 at 14.80 mills. Summit County collects 12.62 mills, which translates to $387 per $100,000. …
