Owner Jim Armington says Sun Valley Sports is the most extensive skate shop in the Akron area. The shop has been selling skateboards, longboards and accessories at the location for about four years, he said. Armington added the product line at the suggestion of an employee who was an avid skateboarder and it has done well for the store, he said. And he's been in the industry since high school. Tatman spent his after-school hours working for his aunt and uncle at their shop, Herwicks Floral Shop in Barberton.
