Police: Revere Teen Reports Being Sexually Assaulted at Basketball Game

Information provided by the Bath Township Police Department.

The Bath Police Department is investigating a report of sexual assault that happened at a Revere High School basketball game in December, according to a police report. Police Chief Michael McNeely said a 15-year-old girl reported being sexually assaulted to the Richfield Police Department, who then called BPD. McNeely said the schools have been notified and are cooperating with police. He added that no school employees are suspects in the alleged offense. There is no identified suspect, McNeely said. The description provided is a white male teen. This is disturbing. Although I understand that this is a police matter I find myself wondering why parents in the district were not told about this by the school administration? This happened weeks ago at a basketball game- shouldn't parents be alerted so that they can talk with their kids?   more ›
