Six local teams play in the Revere Football Charity 7 on 7 Extravaganza.
The first Revere Football Charity 7 on 7 Extravaganza took place on Friday, July 29, 2011. Six local teams: Revere, Norton, Tallmadge, Marlington, Olmsted Falls and Northwestern played scrimmages and participated in a team skills challenge. In the varsity championship scrimmage, Tallmage defeated Marlington. Revere defeated Marlington in the JV scrimmage. Marlington also won the team skills challenge. Proceeds from this year's event go to Rush for a Cause, a charity for severely or tragically injured athletes founded by former Brecksville-Broadview Heights player Matt Galland. You can still donate at this web site. Revere Football Coach Phil Heyn said he hopes to make the 7 on 7 Extravaganza an annual event.
