8 Revere Staff Members to Retire in 2013

The Revere Board of Education meets on April 16.

When the Revere school board meets on Tuesday, April 16, they will say goodby to eight staff members who are retiring. The following teachers have submitted their resignations to retire at the end of the 2012-13 school year:  The board will also look at contracts for window replacement at the middle school and ammend the agreement for student teaching with the University of Akron.

Bath Service Director Announces Retirement to Protect Pension

Bob Wilson has been with Bath Township for 30 years.

At Monday's Bath Township Trustee meeting, Administrator Bill Snow asked trustees to accept the retirement of Service Director Bob Wilson.  Wilson has been the service director for the last three years but has worked for Bath Township for the last 30 years, Wilson said. In his retirement letter he states: "It is with mixed feelings that I submit my resignation as Bath Township Service Director ... effective Dec. 31, 2012. Due to recent changes in OPERS ... and having reached 30 years of service, I have decided now is the best time to retire." Earlier this year, Snow announced he would retire for the same reason, as well as a township firefighter who was then rehired. The state wants to make the following changes to "maintain the fund's …
