Revere High School Student is Presidential Scholar Candidate

Donald Venus, a graduating senior at Revere High School, has been named one of approximately 3,000 candidates in the 2013 U.S. Presidential Scholars Program. The candidates were selected from nearly 3.4 million students expected to graduate from U.S. high schools in 2013. Scholars are chosen on the basis of their accomplishments in many areas, including academic and artistic success, leadership and involvement in the school and community. The Presidential Scholars Program was established in 1964 by Executive Order of the President, to recognize and honor some of our nation’s most distinguished graduating seniors.
