Vote for your favorite place to go on a "staycation" spot here.
This week, we asked you to nominate your favorite "staycation" spots, and now it's time to vote in our poll or rate the businesses below. First off, a "staycation" is when you're on vacation, but you don't leave your hometown. Instead, you make fun daytrips. Local editor Megan Rozsa will choose the winner based on a point system that tabulates the number of positive ratings a business gets and numbers from the poll. The polls close at 5 p.m. Friday. Where in town do you go to have some fun on your days off?
For many of us, going on vacation doesn't necessarily mean taking a trip. Going on vacation can simply mean chillin' at home -- going out to eat, doing some fun things in town and maybe getting a few household chores done. We're so glad someone invented a name for this kind of non-travelin' vacation: The Staycation. This week's Readers' Choice focuses on Best Staycation Destinations.
