Copley 2012 Varsity Boys Basketball Schedule

Basketball season has begun! Who's excited? We want to make sure you give those Copley High School Indians every ounce of support possible, so we've listed the 2012 boys varisty schedule below. All games start at 7:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. Home games are played in the Copley High School Gym. Copley Indians Hang on to Victory Bell After Fierce Battle with Revere (Video)

Indians win 45-15.

Friday's Copley vs. Revere high school football rivalry matchup was not a pretty game. But the Indians came out on top, 45-15, and got to keep the Victory Bell.  Both teams were cited several times with unsportsman-like conduct, and several other penalties slowed the game down. But it was a good fight. It was the last game of the season for both teams. The Battle for the Bell: Who Will Win Friday's Football Matchup?

The Copley Indians and Revere Minutemen will clash Friday in the 61st Battle for the Bell.

The last football game for the Revere Minutemen and Copley Indians is against each other Friday in a rivalry matchup at Revere Stadium. Copley and Revere have been playing each other since 1950, but the battle got real when the Battle for the Bell bega. The bell was purchased in 1968 and has been given to the winner of the game since then, according to CopleyIndiansFootball.org. For more about the history of the bell, click here. This season, the Indians have a record of five wins, four losses. The Minutemen have one win, eight losses. Copley took home the bell last year, beating Revere 27 to 14. Tonight, the Revere High Minutemen will play a Homecoming game against the Cloverleaf Colts.  The game starts at 7 p.m. but the underclassmen Homecoming Court members will be announced during pregame at 6:50 p.m. Senior members of Homecoming Court will be announced at halftime. Also tonight, the Copley High Indians take on the Green Bulldogs at home starting at 7 p.m. Parents, we know you'll be taking pictures of your babies on Homecoming Court, on the team or in the band.
