Fairlawn's Pure DeLite Cupcakes Specialize in Guilt-Free Treats
Owner promises big taste and small calories
Sweet tasting, yet healthy treats are the specialty item at Pure DeLite Cupcakes. Located on Ghent Road across from Summit Mall, the "cupcakery," takes its name from usage of "pure" ingredients and the "lite" nutritional value. Owner Rachel Hough said she creates cupcakes and other delicacies, minus the regret, while not compromising taste or size. Hough is a former interior designer. Her goal at Pure DeLite is to make something everyone can enjoy using organic ingredients. Each cupcake is made from scratch. "I wanted to show people the options they have to eat healthy," she said.
