Fair Trade Market, Hayride, Pet Blessing Set for This Weekend

Here are some things to do Saturday and Sunday

St. Hilary Parish, 2750 W Market St. in Fairlawn will host a Free Trade Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 5 and 6.

Support the fair trade industry by shopping from vendors whose products are made by artisans and farmers around the world, including jewelry, food clothing, coffee, tea, chocolate, home decor, toys, holiday items and more.

Admission is free and includes a raffle ticket. 

Animal Blessing 

The annual St. Luke’s Animal Blessing event will take place on Saturday, Oct. 5 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at St. Luke's Ministries 3810 Ridgewood Rd., Copley.

There will be services at 1 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. 

Local animal rescue groups have been invited to the event this year, bringing dogs, cats, horses and animals looking for homes.
