Things to Know This Week in Fairlawn and Bath

A look at the days ahead

Some things happening this week:

1. Road still closed — Motorists should avoid the Yellow Creek Road Bridge over Yellow Creek, about .3 miles east of Cleveland-Massillon Road in Bath. It will be closed for about 30 days.

2. Through the Eyes of the Artist: Pablo Picasso — Local art historian Felicia Zavarella Stadelman gives us an in-depth look at one of the most prolific and influential artists of the 20th century at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 23 at the Fairlawn-Bath Library.

3. Still time to file for reimbursement — Fairlawn City Council has extended the deadline to Oct. 31, 2013 to turn in an application for reimbursement for the installation of flood control devices.

4. 'The Smell of the Kill' — The Western Reserve Playhouse presents the mystery/comedy Friday and Saturday, Sept. 27 and 28.
