Tennis Doubles Team to Make Charity Appearance in Montrose

The world's No. 1 doubles team, Bob and Mike Bryan, are coming to the Springside Racquet and Fitness Club this week.

 

Tennis doubles team Bob and Mike Bryan are coming to the in Montrose for the sixth annual Swinging for Victory Grand Slam Event on Friday and Saturday. The event will benefit Bath Township's , a therapeutic riding program.

The Bryan brothers will participate in exhibition matches on Saturday at 1 p.m. against Ross Wilson and Scott Green, who are the 2005 Ohio State University No. 1 doubles team. They will also demonstrate competitive match preparation by running through drills, discussing strategy and providing tips to better your game. There will also be on-court opportunities for the audience.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $20 for children and are available in advance by calling Victory Gallop at 330-666-0300. Tickets will also be available at the door the day of the event. For more information, visit website.

All proceeds benefit Victory Gallop, a program that works with children with emotional and behavioral challenges and life-threatening illnesses. It is also home to Petie the Pony, the only pony to make hospital visits to sick children.
