Pets of the Week: Marlin and Whisper

The Humane Society of Greater Akron is offering these pets for adoption.

Marlin

Marlin was born around October 2010 and currently weighs about 50 pounds. The best way to describe Marlin is a silly goofball that makes you smile! He gets along amazingly with other dogs and always wants to play, play and play! He would do best with an active family and a home with older kids. Whisper

Whisper is around 8-10 years old. If you are looking for a sweet, lovable, social lap cat, congratulations, you have just found him! He is great with other cats and shows great potential with dogs. Volunteers and staff describe him as an amazing boy. It’s no secret that Whisper is wonderful!

Adoption Fees:

Dogs and Puppies: $99
Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter and have received a microchip locator and age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
