Pets of the Week: Kyro and Soda

These homeless pets could be the next new member of your family.

The Humane Society of Greater Akron is offering these animals for adoption.

Kyro

Kyro is a 3 ½ year old Shepherd/Husky mix that weighs about 60 pounds. He was returned after 2 years because the previous family didn’t have enough time for him anymore. In his previous home, he was housebroken, but will probably need time adjusting to a new schedule. He already knows sit, down, stay, come and shake! He loves playing ball and would do wonderful with an active family. He seems to get along well with other dogs and would do best in a home with no small children. If you think Kyro sounds like your type of guy, stop in and see him today!

Soda

Soda is around 5 years old and is a gorgeous long hair orange and white male kitty. He is very people-oriented and if there is an open lap, he has no problem occupying it! He loves to snuggle, get brushed and, of course, get lots of pets! He was rescued from a hoarding situation with 102 other animals. Although he seems to do well with dogs he would be best as the only cat. So if Soda has popped his way into heart, stop down and visit him, we are sure your love for him won’t fizzle!
