Pets of the Week: Honey and Woodchuck

One of these homeless pets could be the next new member of your family.

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Honey

Honey is around 10-12 months old and weighs about 45 pounds. She LOVES to play with toys and does well with other dogs. She may be a little shy when she first meets new people, but warms up very quickly. We are sure that Winnie the Pooh won’t be the only one that thinks this Honey is sweet!

Woodchuck

Woodchuck arrived at the HSGA with lacerations over his body and a severely injured leg. Unfortunately, the damage to his leg was too bad and we needed to amputate. This tripod doesn’t let this stop him from being a happy and social kitty at the shelter. At first, he was very shy, staying in a little box in the back of his cage not wanting to come out. Fast forward to today and now this 6 year old handsome man welcomes everyone by coming to the front of the cage for a meet and greet. If you still don't notice him, he gives an unique little "hello" meow to get your attention. Once out with you, he gives little bumps with his head to show how much he likes you. If you think Woodchuck would be a good match for your family stop down and meet this special man today!
