Pets of the Week: Handsome Rob and Adalaide

The Humane Society of Greater Akron is offering these animals for adoption.

Handsome Rob

Handsome Rob is a 2-year-old Pit Bull that weighs around 55 pounds. He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and loves to play with them. He can be a little nervous when he first meets new people, but it doesn’t take long for him to be your best buddy! Not only is he a good-looking guy, he also has a very sweet and loving side. Adelaide’s Bio

Adelaide’s previous family abandoned her and now she is looking for a new start with a new family. When Adelaide first arrived, she was very nervous, but now is slowly blooming into a sweet and more social kitty. She immediately responds with a purr when talked to, petted or brushed. Adelaide would do best in a quiet adult home, all she needs is a warm lap and gentle rubs and her precious personality will continue to blossom.

Adoption Fees:

Dogs and Puppies: $99
Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
