Pets of the Week: General and Mila

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

General

General is a 1-year-old Pit Bull/English Bulldog mix that weighs about 45 pounds. He can be a little shy when he first meets you, but it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He LOVES other doggies and he will get the zoomies when he plays with them. (The zoomies is when his bum doesn’t leave the ground as he is running around with excitement!) If you think that General would be a good fit with your troop march on down to the HSGA today!

Mila

Mila is around 4 to 5 years old. If you are looking for an animated character, look no further! This kitty is one funny vocal lady! She loves playing with toys and cat nip as much as she likes talking to you. She will welcome you to her cage and if you give her a toy she will run around with it in her mouth still talking to you, she is one talented cat (not to mention how cute it looks)! She can’t get enough pets and loves to cuddle in your lap. She has potential with other cats. Mila is a sweet, affectionate and friendly girl that is hoping to become part of a family soon!

Dogs and Puppies: $99

Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
