My country 'tis of thee, sweet land of liberty...
The songs of our country's freedom are often played when fireworks are shooting off into the sky. And we've always wondered who can hear them with loud bangs all around?
So we want to know what your favorite patriotic songs are so you can play them loud and clear whenever you want: during a cookout, in your car or, heck, even when you march in place in the shower.
Leave your favorite song in the comments and we'll whip up a Spotify playlist and share it with you on July 4. Get your songs into us by July 2 so we have enough time to put the list together.
Can't wait to see what you recommend!
"Born Free" by Kid Rock, even though it is not the "in your face" type of patriotic song. I cry every time I hear "Anchors Aweigh".; they played it at my son's bootcamp graduation. When my first husband was in the Navy, they always played "God Bless the USA" when the ship pulled in....and then lots of military got turned off because Greenwood also recorded the same song with USA replaced by Canada. Mellencamp's "Our Country" is good. Aaron Tippin - "Where the Stars & Strips and Eagle Fly"

Oh yeah. Nothing. As usual.
