More than 100 Horses Expected at 69th Annual Bath Horse Show

There's still time to register a horse for the show.

The Bath Fire Department hosts its annual fundraiser for its non-profit incorporation and this year more than 100 horses will be at the event.

Donations from individual and corporate sponsors, with the help of Bath Volunteers for Service, are used to help pay for new fire trucks and ambulances, specialized rescue equipment, replacement personal protective gear, new and replacement EMS equipment, as well as training equipment and public education materials.

It's the only fundraising event to supplement the purchase of this equipment.

“This is the Fire Department’s biggest fundraiser and those funds go towards funding new Emergency Medical Services [EMS] and fire safety equipment,” said Amy Bowers, a co-chair of the Bath Horse Show in this West Side Leader story. “Last year, the money went towards a new water truck.”
