Matt is an exemplary student and citizen at Arrowhead Elementary School.  Matt is very responsible, respectful and caring.  He listens intently during instruction and he participates often in class discussions.  Matt is one of the most courteous individuals I have every encountered.  When working with his fellow classmates, he is tolerant, compassionate, and kind.  We recently had a new student join our class and Matt was more than happy to show him around and help him learn the procedures of a new school.  Matt walks in the door always with a smile and a “Good Morning, Mrs. Kocsis”.  As he leaves for the day he always says, “Good-bye and have a good day”.  Matt is a member of Student Council and out of school plays basketball.  Academically Matt gives 100% and demonstrates extra effort in all of his studies.  His great personality and sense of humor makes him a great addition to our classroom.   Congratulations on an honor that is well deserved.

 Great job, Matthew!
