Cribbs Twitter Rant: Justified? You Tell Us

Josh Cribbs used profanity in a Tweet after seeing fans bash the Browns after the 34-12 loss to the Denver Broncos. The Plain Dealer reported that he later deleted the tweet.

Everybody likes to vent and after Sunday's loss to the Denver Broncos, Cleveland Browns fans weren't alone in the habit.

The fans were especially critical of Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver Josh Cribbs after a fumble and a penalty.

Cribbs had a few words to share in response on Twitter.

The Plain Dealer reported that Cribbs tweeted from his @JoshCribbs16 account,

"I see all the negativity on twitter after I gave my life to this (stuff)," he Tweeted. "So 2 all u who are against me (Expletive) all y'all. I'm still gonna do me!"

He later deleted the post, but continued to complain Sunday night:

"Yea I had a moment smh..... wooossssahhh aiiight man I 4got each day there are a new breed of haters out there disguised as fans!"

One blogger on Rant Sports recommended Cribbs not even have a Twitter account.

Fans have tweeted in response -- some in support including Iron Chef and Cleveland restauranteur Michael Symon, some not so supportive. We've shared some of those tweets in the photo gallery.

What do you think about his tweets?

To Josh The Man Cribbs: You are the kind of player EVERY team EVERY coach EVERY fan and EVERY owner prays for. Don't think every time you return a kick off or punt, we are not waiting for one of your miracle run backs. We are and probably always will. You play with more passion for this game than anyone on your team. Don't loose that passion. The last two seasons have been tough all the way around but, I am optomistic that things are going to turn around next season. I watched you at Kent and was damn glad to see you land in Cleveland. You fumbled? Dude, that means you're human, Hoss! I'll bet nobody hurt, on your team, more than you did when the Borncos turned that fumble into points. It happens and I'll let it slide this time. It wasn't the reason the Browns lost, though. As for the Tweet, you showed that human side again. Not only that, you work hard, play hard and get slammed for fumbling? Haters are out there, friend. Most fans who post are just tired of the kind of seasons we have had. I'd say this, if any of us fans were better than the ones on that field, we'd be playing pro ball. Where are we? Sitting our butts in the seats either at the stadium, at home or in a bar. Enough said Hollywood! Yeah, I saw you in the show, too! lol Pump up that offensive line next week! Get the line to block like this last game of the season is the Super Bowl. Not one play but EVERY play! Pump them up like they have never been pumped up before. Make the line reach deeper than they have!
