It is my honor to nominate Erin Eblen as Fort Island’s Student of the Month.  Erin is truly a model for so many of our Copley-Fairlawn character traits.  She always treats adults and peers with kindness, respect, and courtesy.  We do a great deal of partner and small group work in class and I can count on Erin to work well in those situations.  She does not hesitate to take a leadership role, but she also makes sure that everyone is included and contributes to the task.

Erin brightens every day with her beautiful smile and happy disposition.  She consistently demonstrates diligence and responsibility in her classwork.  Erin tackles every assignment with a positive attitude and willingness to work hard.  She never gets discouraged when the work is challenging, but instead takes an “I can do it” approach and just digs in.  Needless to say, her work is always completed on time and her grades are excellent.  Erin is a wonderful role model for those who work with and around her.

Erin loves taking on responsibility, each day looking for ways to help her teacher and fellow students.  Thank you, Erin.  I always appreciate your help.

Finally, Erin demonstrates self-respect in all that she does.  She is not one to just follow the crowd, but instead follows her own heart to do what is right.  We can all learn from her example.  I’m thrilled to call Erin Fort Island’s Student of the Month.

Congratulations, Erin!
