"When we think of having pride in our school and in our community, we think of excellence, we think of our heritage, we think of the sound principles.  These things have all been instilled in Damon. His strong family background and the support he receives from them lead to his many strengths.  He excels in his school work with a 3.39 GPA while taking upper level courses and is ranked in the top third of his class.  Teachers describe him as conscientious, responsible, polite, prepared, personable, and a model student.  His positive example and school spirit make him a leader among his peers.  As a member of the inaugural Copley Bowling Club, Damon qualified and placed 54th in the OHSAA State Tournament.  He was also awarded 1st team honors in the Greater Summit Conference for bowling.  Damon is a member of the Ohio High School Honor Roll for Bowlers.  As a member of the Copley Track team he competes in high jump and 110 meter and 300 meter hurdles.  As Captain of the bowling team he has been a valuable asset in working with the other students, his skills and expertise showing them by example what it takes to excel at whatever you do.   I value his opinion and his leadership.  Having pride in what he has accomplished with humility at the same time shows his exceptionally good character."

Congratulations, Damon!
