The story follows a baker (Marcus Martin) and his wife (Monica Peck) who wish to have a child, Cinderella (Jacqueline D'Attoma) who wishes to attend the King's Festival, and Jack (Wesley Shinn) who wishes his cow would give milk.

When the baker and his wife learn that they cannot have a child because of the curse from the witch (Bria Neal), the two set off on a journey to break the curse. Jack's mother (Zoe Washburn) gives frustrated advice, Little Red Ridinghood (Kaitlyn Harris) crosses paths with the wolf (Morgan Burt) and Rapunzel (Emma Haney) warbles of her life in the tower.

Cinderella's Prince (Kory Braman) and Rapunzel's Prince (Dawson Mancabelli) always make their presence known.  Cinderella's extended family of her Stepmother (Hallie Heffernan), Stepsisters (Alyse Hanna and Clair Twigg), Stepfather (Tyler Bailey) and Mother (Nia Forbes) provide a more twisted view of her story.

The entire plot is unfolded by the Narrator (Julian McDuffie) who eventually gets pulled into the story.  All of the other characters in the woods (Bailey Noonan, Brett Ryan, Ashlee Jackson, Madison Deckert, JT Smith, Joey Klein, Brendan Ahern and Griffin Jontry) make the journey a true frolic to follow.

Everyone's wish is granted, but the consequences of their actions return to haunt them later with disastrous results.
