A 2012 Graduate with Honors: Edwin Zhang

Edwin is Revere High School's Class of 2012 co-salutatorian.

Leading up to graduation, we'll feature the and seniors who will speak at commencement. On the day of graduation, we'll feature their profiles again, as well as publish their speeches. Both schools graduate on June 3 at 2 p.m.

This profile is on Revere High School co-salutatorian Edwin Zhang. Edwin is heading off to Yale to study economics.

Edwin: I'll miss my teachers, friends and the fun extracurriculars.

P: What are you looking forward to in moving on to college?

E: The intellectual vitality of the college experience. I'm excited to meet new people and have new experiences.

P: What advice would you give to underclassmen?

E: Get involved with something you're passionate about. Take the initiative and make the most out of what you're given. You don't want any regrets.

P: What was your favorite high school class?

E: English

P: What clubs or extracurriculars were you involved in?

E: Math Honor Society, National Honor Society, Debate Team, Science Olympiad Chess Club, cross country and Academic Challenge

P: What are some of your high school accomplishments?

E: I had above a 4.0 GPA all through high school, I qualified for nationals in Debate and I won several individual awards in the Science Olympiad.

P: Tell us a fun fact about you.

E: I've gone skydiving indoors.
