A 2012 Graduate with Honors: Annie Sun

Annie Sun is Revere High School's co-valedictorian for the Class of 2012.

Leading up to graduation, we'll feature the and seniors who will speak at commencement. On the day of graduation, we'll feature their profiles again, as well as publish their speeches. Both schools graduate on June 3 at 2 p.m.

This profile is on Revere High School co-valedictorian Annie Sun. Annie is heading off to Dartmouth College in New Hampshire to study biochemistry.

Annie: All the smiling faces of my friends and teachers. I'll miss the feeling of being in high school and the supportive environment Revere provides.

P: What are you looking forward to in moving on to college?

A: Meeting hoards of new people and getting use to a new environment. I'm also looking forward to the lovely New Hampshire weather. I'm ready to go into the unknown to find myself.

P: What advice would you give to underclassmen?

A: Grab onto the time you have with both hands and do things and things and things. Your time here is limited.

P: What was your favorite high school class?

A: Chemistry

P: What clubs or extracurriculars were you involved in?

A: Math Honor Society, National Honor Society, mock trial, Science Olympiad Ecology Club and Academic Challenge

P: What are some of your high school accomplishments?

A: I had above a 4.0 GPA all through high school, I ran cross country for four years, I won individual medals in the Science Olympiad and I volunteered in Akron teaching English as a second language. I was also named Most Likely to Win a Nobel Prize in our Senior Superlatives.

P: Tell us a fun fact about you.

A: I spend more time playing Minesweeper than I do sleeping.
