Happening Now: Ahern's Florist is Coming Down
Crews are on site demolishing the former florist and dry cleaner today.
Today is the day: the former Ahern's Florist and Cavalier Cleaners building at the corner of West Market Street and Trunko Road is being demolished.
Crews were on site early Tuesday morning and started by tearing down the greenhouse in the back. The rest of the building will come down later Tuesday afternoon.
The building is being demolished so Giant Eagle can build a GetGo gas station.
