Bake Sale Success!

"Vegan Treats for Peace" bake sale fundraiser.

This past April 28th myself and two of my close friends, Rachelle Farren and Richard Ian Tracy, organized a "Vegan Treats for Peace" bake sale.  The proceeds from this bake sale were to benefit the organization the Akron Peace Project.  Julie Wandling Costell, owner of Ms. Julie's Kitchen (S. Main St.) and Ms. Julie's Cafe (E. Exchange St.) was gracious enough to let us host our bake sale at her S. Main St. location.  What a fabulous turnout we had - not only were there lots of delicious vegan treats for sale, a lot of wonderful people showed up to show their support.

I am happy to announce that the bake sale raised $317 for the Akron Peace Project!  THANK YOU to Rachelle Farren and Richard Ian Tracy for your help in putting the bake sale together.  THANK YOU to Julie Wandling Costell for allowing us to host our bake sale at your establishment.  THANK YOU to everyone who worked their magic in the kitchen creating delicious vegan goodies.  THANK YOU to everyone who stopped by and purchased baked goods.  And last but not least, THANK YOU to the Akron Peace Project for all the great things that your organization does for our community.
