Township Administrator Bill Snow Rehired for Interim Period

The trustees rehired Snow Friday morning.

Bath Township Administrator Bill Snow was set to retire on Aug. 31, but the trustees have rehired him for an interim period ending March 31, 2013, according to a press release.

to protect his state pension. However, he did tell the trustees he would like to be rehired at a reduced salary.

The trustees are using this interim period to find a new township administrator and to allow for training of that person, the release said.

"Mr. Snow’s job duties and responsibilities during the interim period will be identical to those presently held by the Administrator," the release said.  "Mr. Snow’s interim appointment will provide for an orderly transition."

Earlier this week, Bath residents because no one else knows the community like he does.
