Fairlawn to Consider Approval of Trunko Road Widening Bid

Fairlawn City Council meets at 6:30 p.m.

The bids are in for Fairlawn's Trunko Road widening project, which will alleviate traffic if Planning Commission approves final plans for at GetGo at that intersection.

If site plans are approved by Planning Commission on June 14, the station will sit at the corner of West Market Street and Trunko Road.

Giant Eagle has agreed to pay for more than half of the cost of widening Trunko Road to include a left turn lane, said Fairlawn Mayor William Roth. The signal at Trunko will also be updated to include a left-turn arrow.
