Fairlawn Mayor Returns to China to Lure Businesses Here

Roth is making second trip to talk with Chinese business owners

Mayor Bill Roth is in China this week in his second business venture to try to attract businesses to northeast Ohio, Ohio.com reports.

Roth left Friday for a 10-day trip — his second this year. The mayor also went to China in February.

Councilman Bryan Nace was also expected to make the trip.

Both will pay their own travel and hotel expenses. 

Roth said the local team will represent the Mayors Association of Portage, Summit and Stark counties, seeking to get Chinese companies interested in northern Ohio.
