Fairlawn Council to Approve Giant Eagle Development Contract Tonight

Fairlawn City Council will look to approve allowing Mayor William Roth to enter into a development agreement with Giant Eagle for the building of a GetGo at tonight's meeting.

If approved, the city will enter into the development agreement and Giant Eagle will Giant Eagle representatives hope to break ground in August.

To make way for the extra traffic of a GetGo, Giant Eagle also agreed to pay more than half the cost of widening a portion of Trunko Road. The improvements include a left-turn lane and a left-turn signal.
