Candidate Statement:  Our school system is one of the greatest assets that our community has.  We must continue to improve our school system to prepare our children for a difficult, changing work force.  In order to do so, we have to move to a position where parents, teachers, administrators and the Board of Education have a common goal of providing the best quality education possible while maintaining the long-term financial viability of the school district.  The tax-paying members of our community must have faith in and an understanding of the financial picture that is presented by the school administration.  I have the leadership skills, financial experience and communication ability to work with other board members to get our school district to this position.
