Candidate Statement:

I am a strong advocate of public education. I am also a strong advocate of the Revere School District. I believe that excellent public education develops individuals, strengthens families, and enhances communities. I recognize that there are many within our district who choose to educate their children in a private institution, or at home.  I respect their choice, and I am grateful we live in a nation where there is choice. But, I am also grateful that an excellent “choice” in the Revere community is public, and can be embraced by all. My passion for public education, and for the excellent public education available at Revere, makes me a strong candidate for the Revere Board of Education.

Our family has lived in the district for 15-plus years. During that period, six of our eight children have attended and graduated from Revere. Our oldest child had graduated before we arrived, and our youngest daughter is now a freshman at RHS. Collectively we have accumulated 54 years of educational experience in the district! We have witnessed firsthand the incredible results of a Revere education. Our time, our experience, and the results have left me with a sincere desire to give back in a meaningful way. I want to do my part in maintaining and enhancing public education in the Revere community.
