Candidate Statement: I believe that I am qualified for trustee, based upon my sixteen-years of experience as a Bath Township Trustee. I have in-depth knowledge of all areas of the administration of Bath Township. I have been a hands-on trustee. I have served as liaison to administration, zoning, parks, solid waste district, cemeteries and the quarterly newsletter. I have taken a keen interest in the police, fire and service departments. I have also reviewed all budgetary requests in detail. I have personally written forty-nine grant requests to supplement revenues. From those requests, as well as donations that I solicited, the township has received over $2.6 million which was used to fund improvements.
I seek to continue to serve Bath to provide exceptional quality public services, cooperative leadership, and a high level of participation in local organizations. I will remain fiscally responsible, looking out for your financial interests by controlling expenses and keeping our taxes as low as possible, while simultaneously ensuring a safe and high quality of life for our residents.
My goal is the same as yours: to protect Bath's rural-residential character.
