City Council Preview: Rothrock, Rosemont Closings on Agenda

Fairlawn City Council will meet at 6:30 tonight in council chambers at to consider the following items:

• An ordinance amending the 2010 measure which authorized the closing of Rosemont Boulevard at the intersection of Rothrock Road.

• An ordinance amending the 2010 measure which authorized the closing of Rothrock Road just west of Sawgrass Drive and just east of the Copley Place retirement living center.

• An ordinance establishing a reconciliation budget for 2011.

• An ordinance establishing a temporary budget for 2012.

• A resolution authorizing the mayor or his designee to prepare specifications and obtain bids for the 2012 street repair program.

• An ordinance amending rules and regulations for the Fairlawn Community Gardens.

• An ordinance accepting the low bid of J&J Refuse for hauling trash from the Andrew E. Sombati Compactor and Recycling Facility to a designated site for 2012-2014, with an option for two years after that.
