Bath Township Voting Precincts, Polling Locations Have Changed

Because of redistricting, Bath Township now has two polling locations and differently drawn precincts.

Residents in Bath Township not only have to deal with voting in different precincts this year, but also different polling locations.

At Monday's Bath Trustees meeting, Township Administrator Bill Snow said because of redistricting, Summit County went from 475 precincts to 298 and the number of polling locations has been reduced from 194 to 151.

Redistricting also split the township in half, which means two people represent the township on Summit County Council. West Akron and Downtown Akron are now joined with the eastern part of Bath for District 4. District 5 contains the western part of Bath, with Copley, Fairlawn, and parts of West Akron.
