Bath's 2013 Projects: Here's What Residents Can Expect

Township's budget includes some major purchases

 

Bath Township is planning some major projects and purchases this year, according to its 2013 budget.

Deputy Township Administrator Vito Sinopoli said Bath's $13.78 million in appropriations include:

• Replacing the 20-year-old roof on the Bath Center Complex. The township has been setting aside money for four years for the job.

• Constructing a fuel station at the Ira Road facility so police, fire, service and other workers have 24-hour access to fill township vehicles' gas tanks.

• Buying an emergency back-up generator to replace a 20-year-old model.

• Replacing the mail server.

• Buying four marked police cruisers.

• Transfering money to a fire truck reserve account for a fire truck the township plans to buy in 2020.

• Replacing an equipment trailer and dump truck in the Roads Department; a pick-up truck for the Parks Department; and an infield buggy for the parks.

• Crack sealing and color coating four tennis courts

• Repairing the parking lot at Bath Nature Center.
