Bath Plans First Steeplechase Run

Event Nov. 9 will raise money for park improvements

 

The Bath Park Board is organizing the first-ever steeplechase run this year.

The 8K event and 2K Family Fun Run are set for Nov. 9 at the Bath Nature Preserve.

The goal is to raise money for future improvements or activities in Bath parks.

A steeplechase is a run that includes hurdles that runners step on and knock down, and a water pit.

The Community Development Corporation (formerly the park board) has set up a Bath Steeplechase Committee and partnered with Summit Athletic Running Club to organize the run.
