With the topic of drilling heating up in this area, we wanted to give you a glimpse into how it all began.

 

A few weeks ago, Fairlawn-Bath Patch featured an article about . The topic of fracking is heating up not only in , where residents have been approached to lease their land, but also in Copley Township.

Fracking isn't new, and according to Tom Stewart from the Ohio Oil and Gas Association, it's been going on in Bath Township for years, and for decades around the nation.

What a nice cartoon. It makes everything look so neat and clean -- "just a small amount of chemicals" are used. Tell that to the folks in Pavilion WY where the EPA has linked fracking to polluted drinking water. Their land is wrecked due to fracking.
