You Said It: Where Were You on Sept. 11, 2001?

Police, firefighters especially hard-hit by terrorist attacks.

Ten years ago, terrorists struck in New York City, Washington, D.C., and in Pennsylvania, leaving the United States changed forever. 

Most of us have clear memories of Sept. 11, 2001. Nowhere is that more true than among police and firefighters, who remember their brothers in arms who ran into the burning buildings to help get its occupants get out. Many died trying as the twin towers collapsed.

Bath resident Tim Lombardi, a Cuyahoga Falls firefighter, recently told his story to Patch of his response with Ohio Tank Force 1.
