Woman Arrested for Hitting Husband with Car

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

A 911 call brought Bath police to Yellow Creek Road Aug. 2 after a woman allegedly hit her husband with a car, then took off in another vehicle.

A report said the woman was trying to leave the garage about 9 p.m. when she struck her husband, pinning him against the garage door and injuring his leg.

She then got into another car and left.

A report said she refused to answer her cell phone when officers tried to call her. But she later sent a text to her grandson, saying she was in trouble and he probably wouldn't see her again.

She didn't make it far, thought — police tracked her cell phone to the Best Western in Copley Township.

The woman refused to answer the door, so officers got a key and arrested her for domestic violence and felonious assault.

She was taken to Summit County Jail.
