VP Biden to Close Interstate 77 Entrances, Exits Around 1 p.m.

Vice President Joe Biden will speak at Lorain High School this afternoon.

Vice President Joe Biden made a campaign stop in Canton this morning, and will head up to his next campaign stop in Lorain around 12:30.  Biden landed at the Akron-Canton Airport around 11:15 a.m., according to airport staff.

To make his way to the campaign event at Lorain High School he will travel up Interstate 77, which means all of the entrances and exits from Shuffel Road in North Canton past Ghent Road in Bath Township will be closed, according to a Bath Township dispatcher. The dispatcher did not know if the VP would travel I-90 or the Ohio Turnpike to get to Lorain County.

Bath Police Chief Michael McNeely has been given a 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. time frame for when Biden will pass through the Montrose area.
