Vandals Hit School; Someone Phones in a False Report: Police Blotter

The following information was provided by the Bath Township Police Department

Some paint-wielding vandals targeted Revere High School last week, according to a report.

Police said the culprits covered the landscaping on the northeast corner of the school with paint, as well as a stop sign and school zone flasher sign.

The damage was done the night of Aug. 17. Police found several empty cans of paint nearby.

False Call

Police went to an Everett Road home about 12:30 a.m. Aug. 15 expecting to find a resident out of control, but discovered nothing of the sort.

A caller reported  resident running around the back yard, trying to harm herself.

Instead, officers found the resident talking quietly with her boyfriend in the garage.

They were surprised to hear the allegation and suspect a family member who was staying there was trying to start trouble, the report said.
